Our Mission
Forge Forward was founded on a straightforward principle: men deserve mental health support that actually meets their needs. Too many men face barriers to care: stigma that discourages vulnerability, lack of male-focused resources, and services that don't account for how men typically seek and engage with support.
We're building something different. Forge Forward provides accessible, evidence-based mental health resources specifically designed for men. Our programs focus on practical skill-building, peer connection, and creating judgment-free spaces where men can address mental health challenges without the barriers that traditionally keep them from seeking help.
Our Approach
Mental health support shouldn't require men to fit a predetermined mold. We meet men where they are, whether they're dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, addiction, life transitions, or the complex interplay of multiple challenges. Our approach recognizes that these struggles are often interconnected, and effective support requires addressing the whole person, not isolated symptoms.
We emphasize:
- Evidence-based practices grounded in current mental health research and proven therapeutic approaches
- Practical application that translates into real-world skills men can use immediately
- Peer support that breaks isolation and builds genuine community
- Flexibility in how men access and engage with resources
- Long-term sustainability rather than quick fixes that don't last

Leadership
Forge Forward is led by Rebekah Reynolds, MSW, who brings over 20 years of experience in mental health, specializing in addiction and anger management. With extensive training in complex conditions including co-occurring disorders, Rebekah understands that men's mental health challenges rarely exist in isolation. Her approach is direct, genuine, and focused entirely on client outcomes: qualities that inform every aspect of Forge Forward's programs and culture.
Our Vision
We're working toward a future where seeking mental health support is a normal, accessible part of men's lives. Where men have communities that support vulnerability alongside strength. Where practical mental health skills are as commonplace as any other life skill. Forge Forward exists to make that vision real.
